• Featured full animation by Don Bluth (former Disney animator)

• Played more like an interactive cartoon than a traditional game

• You controlled Dirk the Daring trying to rescue Princess Daphne

• Super simple… but brutal timing:

• Joystick (4 directions):

• Up / Down / Left / Right

• Sword Button:

• Attack / interact

• 👉 That’s it.

• But…
  👉 You had to hit the RIGHT input at the EXACT moment

• Miss it = instant death animation (and there were a LOT)
