Randy Rhoads Memorial Add-Ons: Cause of Death, Randy Rhoads died on March 19, 1982 in a tragic plane crash while on tour with Ozzy Osbourne. The small aircraft, flown by the band’s bus driver, was attempting low-altitude passes over the tour bus when it clipped the vehicle and crashed, killing all on board.
